The Jaypee Group of Companies has consistently displayed full awareness of its social responsibilities through the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS), a ‘not for profit’ Trust registered under the Income Tax Act, 1961. It has been established to discharge its responsibility towards the society. The Sansthan functions with a holistic approach for overall socio-economic development. Set up in 1993, the trust aims to reduce the pain and distress in the society. The Group firmly believes that Education is the cornerstone to economic development and the strength of 1.21 billion Indians can be channelized by education alone to build India into a developed nation.
Gopala Private Industrial training Institute is a modern institute located in the heart of Jaypee Bina thermal Power Plant (A 2x250MW Thermal Power Plant) campus. It is located at about 25.6 Km from the city of Bina and about 13 Km from the BORL refinery. It has been established under the aegis of our Hon’ble Founder Chairman Shri Jaiprakash Gaur Ji to cater the technical education needs of people from rural area. Initially the institute is planning to start with two trades namely “Electrician” & “Cutting & Sewing). The idea behind this initiative is to educate the rural youth with Craftsmen skills and fill in the gaps required for employment.
